Head to the Down Under with Wear is Sam

It’s time for a vacay! I’m heading to Australia in May with my friend Cathie. We will be exploring Sydney, Melbourne, and Byron Bay.

I’ve never been before and I’m extremely excited to be seeing Sydney for the first time. I am excited to see the Opera House, the beautiful beaches, and city life.

In the past, I’ve always used Expedia to research and book a trip because they always display a wide array of hotel properties and the lowest flight prices. I like the feature of booking multi-city flights both on the website and app because it made booking my trip seamless and gave me the best price.

TIP: Enter your airline frequent flyer number to gain points on their site as well as Expedia points to use on future travels. With my points from the past, I was able to get $58 off my hotel accommodations.

I’m staying at The Lurline which is a 4-star hotel located about 15 minutes from the heart of Sydney, and just a few minutes from public transportation, the beach, and Centennial Park. The hotel is truly a gem and I got it for about $99 a night for 2 people on Expedia after the discount.

Did you know Expedia also offers activities? Personally, I’ve used Expedia to book activities in the past because they offer exclusive deals and you’re able to see reviews from past guests. Some activities I’m interested in booked include the Sydney Opera House Guided Tour, BridgeClimb Summit at Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Double Kayak Hire. These activities allow me to be adventurous with confidence that I’ll have the right guidance.

I was able to book an affordable trip with Expedia during the Spring Savings Event which ends at 11:59 pm on March 1, 2020. There are currently tons of deals on flights, packages, hotels, and activities, plus a 10% off coupon just for LiketoKnow.it shoppers. Head to Expedia.com and use code LIKETOGO10 at checkout.

Now is the perfect time to book your Spring getaway while I get packing!
